Asad Shafiq Interview With Australian Reporter

Pakistan is currently touring Australia for Test and ODI series. Pakistan and Australia are playing Test series. Australia is leading the 3 test series 1-0. Pakistan fought really well in their first Test. Asad Shafiq was the star of the First Test Match.

Asad Shafiq made brilliant 137 and named player of the match. Before the 2nd Test Asad Shafiq was interviewed by Australian Reporter. Asad Shafiq was working hard in the hot day. The Reporter asks funny questions from Asad Sahfiq so as Asad Shafiq replied funny answers.

Asad while giving an interview to one of the reporters from an Australian website said that he enjoyed his innings in the first test. He said that he was a little bit down that he could not finish the game but his team was more than happy for his work. Asad said that it was just a bad luck that Pakistan lost the opening test. Asad said that he works really hard on his batting and fitness. These two things are the main pillars on which the overall structure for a test batsman lies upon. He said that of one of the two is down it definitely creates problem for he batsman.

Test cricket is a real challenge. If tests you all the time. You have to be really good and sound in your batting technique to make sure that you score some runs in test cricket. He said that there is less chance that you get away with a chance in this for of cricket because the fielders are standing so close to you all the time.

Asad said that he is really hopeful for his side that they all will give some really tough time to the Aussies. He said that they are playing good cricket and it is just a matter of one game and one win against Australia and they will bounce back in the series. Asad himself was pretty hopeful that he has regained his lost form.

Before this Asad was struggling with the bat in the matches only. He was hitting the ball really well in the nets but his bat was failing him in the middle. But he was hopeful that one good innings from him will give him a change to get back in to his old form. It seems that Asad has played that one good innings. He hit 137 against Australia in the second innings of the opening day and night test. That innings almost gave Pakistan a record win. But Asad got out and soon Pakistan fell all out getting 39 runs defeat while chasing a total of 490 runs.
