Amir yet again rocks for Vikings

Muhammad Amir once again stole the show today. Yesterday against the Riders he was excellent with both new and old ball and was able to pick up four wickets. His Yorker to Misbah was the most talked about moment from yesterday’s games.

Today he was even better. Amir didn’t pick up a wicket yet he didn’t cost a penny. In his four overs he conceded 19 runs. Keep in mind his first ball was hit for a four and that was the only boundary Amir took in his four overs.

The shot was good and Munnaweera looked confident but Amir shattered his confidence against him with the next two Jaffa. The first one came back in a long way and hit the pads of Munnaweera.

The second one left him stranded in the middle with his bat hanging all over the place. Amir almost took him away. It was a brilliant comeback from the left arm fast bowler and he deserved an appreciation for that.

The first spell was brilliant as Amir moved the ball a lot. He used the new seam to his advantage and contained both the Super Stars openers.

In the final spell he contained the Super Stars captain Mushfiqur Rahim. The batsman was hitting every other bowler to his choice but not Amir. Amir beats him a few times away from his off stump but remained unlucky to get the outside edge.

Over all it was another scintillating performance by Muhammad Amir and Vikings would have been over the moon for having him in their side.
